Distance of Waterfalls from Rishikesh

The trekking to the Neergadhu Waterfall starts 3 kms away from Laxman Jhula on the Badrinath Highway. It is one of the most frequented waterfalls as it is the easiest to access. There is also a small pool where one can bathe.

The trekking to Garud Chatti Waterfall starts around 4 kms away from Laxman Jhula on the Neelkanth Mandir Road. The trek starts from a temple dedicated to the Garud God. This waterfall is most beautiful during the monsoons when the water flows through seven different levels.

The patna waterfall gets its name as it is located on the route to a small hamlet called “Patna”. The trekking to the waterfall starts from 5 kms from Laxman Jhula on Neelkanth Mandir Road. It is a beautiful 1.5 Kms trek through Rajaji Forest. This waterfall is also famous for the limestone caves located next to the waterfall. There are also legends associated with it, they say there is a temple and an idol of lord Vishnu located deep inside one of the caves.
